    Ride and Age Requirements

Velocity Valley caters for all different ages and sizes, we strive to provide a unique experience for the young and old.


Rotorua Bungy

The legal age for bungy jumping in New Zealand is 10 years of age. If you are 15 years of age and under, you must have parental or guardian consent. Minimum weight is 35KGS or 77lbs, Maximum weight 150 kgs. Minimum combined weight for tandem bungy 96 kg , Maximum combined tandem weight 200kg. Minimum height required is 1m or 3.3ft. Maximum combined weight of 270kg. We have smaller Swoop harnesses for children and taller harnesses for adults. Please click here for more information about the Swoop.

V-Force Reverse Bungy

V-Force – Reverse Bungy

Minimum age 10 years old, Minimum Height 1.1 Metres(110cm)
Maximum weight combined in the cage is 200 kgs.

Freestyle Airbag

Freestyle Airbag

Riders must be 8 years or older to use the Airbag. Parental consent and supervision is required for riders aged 8-13. All riders must wear a helmet and have their knees and elbows covers. We recommend wearing a full face helmet but this is not compulsory.

The Shweeb

Shweeb Racer

Minimum height is 1.3m tall or 3.6ft. Maximum height is 2m tall – click here to read more about the Shweeb.

Medical or Health Conditions

If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, neck or back problems, epilepsy, a neurological disorder you should not participate in any of the above activities. You should seek medical advice first.

  • “Omg everyone needs to go here... Lots of fun. I did the agrojet (reaches 100km/h in less than 4 seconds) and the swoop (where you drop from 40m high and can reach 130km/h!).
